How to Adopt Your Puppy
DCDogFinders is a small, exclusive family of breeders, a brother and three sisters, who breed only the finest quality Cavachon and Shichon Teddy Bear puppies. Because there are only four of us, we don’t always have puppies available for adoption.
If you don’t see any puppies on the website, that means there are none available right now but there will be very soon. If there are no puppies today, be sure to give us your contact information on the form that we provide so we can let you know the moment the puppies are posted.
We post new puppies as soon as they are available, with pictures, bios and movies and we work with our customers to take them home on the weekend. So if you don’t see the puppy of your dreams, come back often.
The Adoption Steps
The first thing you will see is an “Available Puppies” banner like this on our home page. Click on the Click Here button
You will land on the Available Puppies page where you’ll see pictures of the Available Puppies with their names, breeds, genders and Adoption Fees.
Scroll through the puppies to find the puppy you would like to know more about and click on that puppy's picture.
Next, you will see more pictures, the Adoption Fee and other information about the puppy.
Slide the picture to the right and left to see additional pictures.
You will also see Payment Options and the Adopt Me button.
Select the Payment Option you prefer.
Click Adopt Me
The button will change to say
Confirm My Adoption .
Click to confirm.
On the My Puppy page, enter your email address.
Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
Click the
Complete My Adoption
button.
Enter your credit/debit card information.
We never see your credit card information. It goes directly to our credit card processing company - Square
Click the Pay button
Congratulations!
You have successfully adopted your puppy.
What Happens Next?
Receipt & Confirmation – Immediately after completing the Adoption process, you will receive a detailed receipt by email confirming your adoption.
Introduction Call – Within an hour of receiving your Adoption confirmation, we will call you to tell you all about your puppy, to answer any questions you may have about your puppy and to arrange your Adoption Appointment at our home.
