Critters (and Couture) for the Cure
Washington DC
Critters for the Cure recently held their 2nd Annual Critters (and Couture!) for the Cure, a gala fashion event that raises awareness and funds for women’s cancer.
In addition to the fashion show, attendees enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, a luxury raffle, dutch appeal, live auction and shopping. Ten beautiful women cancer survivors and their pups worked the "catwalk" in spring fashions by Bloomingdale’s and Doggie Couture. Critters for the Cure also honored unique individuals that have personally supported women's cancer.
Their "It Takes A Village" Service Award was presented to Senator Barbara Mikulski for her efforts for and support of women's health and cancer issues. Several of the DCDogFinders breeders attended the event and were happy to donate a marvelous puppy basket for the raffle.

Annual Walk for the Animals
Arlington, VA
Thank you for helping to make the 16th Annual Walk for the Animals a success!! Despite the rain, almost 500 walkers and several hundred dogs participated to show their support for AWLA and raising over $92,000!
Everyone who came enjoyed a morning of excitement that included an agility demonstration by WOOFS! Dog Training Center, a demonstration by Deputy Grubar and Varius from the Arlington County Sheriff's Dept. K9 Unit, and a demonstration on how to take down a bad guy by Fort Myer Kennels Military Working Dog Team with their dog Brutus.
Our sponsors set-up wonderful booths distributing beneficial information and other materials. And of course there was the walk itself! Everyone was invited to join our three shelter dogs - Daisy, Icey and Thomas - on a 3-mile walk or 1-mile stroll. It was a fun time for everyone who came.
Thank you to Barry Altman, Ryan Turpenoff and Peter Del Toro for taking some fantastic pictures of the morning. You can view the album to see the pictures taken.
Best,
Sally

Santa Visits DCDogFinders
The North Pole
Christmas is all about the kids. Two years ago we invited Santa to hand out the puppies to the children who were getting them for Christmas.
Needless to say, it was a big hit for the kids … of all ages. Last year we did it again and it was an even bigger hit.
This year Santa will be back and it looks like we can safely say that it has become an official DCDogFinders holiday tradition.
Ho, ho, ho!!
Here's what some of our
Happy Customers
have told us
Today I took Archie home to meet his 2-year-old Shichon brother, Alfie. Alfie came home with me from DCDogFinders in the summer of 2019. These’s not a better, more dog-loving place around to find your new, furry family member.
Hi DCDOGFINDERS, We wanted to send you some current pictures of Bandit (formerly LULU). We adopted her in April and she has been nothing but a joy for our family. We lost one of family pets the month prior and it was really hard for everyone to cope with the loss. We decided that getting a puppy may help. From day one, Bandit has been a blessing. Our other dog, a 90 lb Akita has taken her under his wing and they are best buds now! They chase each other around the house and love to go for walks together--Bandit has to be right by his side when they are walking! My son is ecstatic over her also, he carries her all over the house-(even though I know she would prefer to walk) but she still gives him kisses the whole time!!!. She is a lover and a cuddler!! Our first night home was little rough--she made it perfectly clear she was not going to be crated but preferred to sleep with my husband and I in our bed. Well, that cute little face won us over and she has be sleeping with us since that day! She will wake me up with kisses when she needs to go out!!! I can't thank you enough for raising such wonderful puppies, she has the greatest disposition I have ever seen and part of that comes from the way they are raised before they are adopted out and still in your care. I cannot tell you how many complements we get when we take her out (and she goes just about everywhere with us!) We are truly blessed and could not be happier with our little Ban-da-boo! (as we call her) Thank you
The Alger family!!!
DCDogFinders, I want to thank you for Yaya (Yorkie-Poo) formerly name Princess. Yaya came home with me on July 11, 2008 and I love her so much. She is doing great using the potty outside because she drags her pee pad around the house all day. I am having a problem with her using a leash. She is so friendly and love to bark and growl. She loves to ride in a car and chew on her sock while they are on your feet. She is a quick learner, she knows sit and no. She is a bit spoil she sleeps with me. She had her first visit to the vet last week and had her first two shots. She was in pain that day but the next day she was back to Yaya. Yaya brings so much joy to my family and extended family. So many people stop me and ask me about Yaya, I gave them your website. It would be a great idea when you send the puppies home with their goodies bag includes some business cards with your information. So, when I am being stop on the street I can just hand out a card. Thanks Again.

Sorry it took so long to write, we have been BUSY!!! We just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you! “Mikey” is adjusting well to our home, we comment every day about how smart and funny he is. He and Jordan are so wonderful together. I cannot tell you how great the Christmas Eve pickup was for us, it truly made getting a new puppy a fantastic experience. It was so nice and Christmas-y, truly a day we will never forget. We will recommend any one looking for a special puppy to contact you. Thanks again, attached are a few pictures of Mikey and Jordan.

Hello, I got Skiddles from you all on March 15, 2008 and I just wanted you see how Skiddles (3 1/2 months) is growing. My family loves him to death. He's so adorable and really poses for pictures like he knows what's going on.
Thank You again,
Ericka & Family
Hi! Hope you are well. Just wanted to send you a few pictures of Tanner (we named him Charlie) that we got from you on April 13. We are so in love with him. He is the happiest dog and loves to play with the kids....and be held and loves on. He is at 18 pounds now and holding steady at that weight the past couple of months. Take care!!
Lana Seymour
Adorable!!!!!! That’s what Tank is! He is doing great…slept most of the day, but ate and drank some earlier. He did really well on the car ride home, too! Thanks again for choosing our family as Tank’s new family. We love him!
All the best for a Merry Christmas!
I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that ADDY has had a wonderful year w/us and is looking forward to her second Christmas. I know I told you already, but she is just the most precious little thing and full of energy…..good energy that is! I hope you enjoy the new picture that I have attached of ADDY and her big brothers and sister J Thanks again for all that you do and have a wonderful, blessed Christmas.
Dawn
We LOVE our daisy she is so much fun. Potty training is 95% complete. She loves learning and is doing ok on walks, learning leave it and stay. She is a water dog and has to be tethered in the yard while we water to keep her from getting soaking wet. She has either fallen in our backyard pond or decided to take a swim to get to the fish because she came running to Chuck and was totally wet.We took her outside one night to practice come Daisy and she would run between us to our request of come and to get her treat. The next night we decided to try it in the house so she went to opposite ends of the house and I called come Daisy, she came and then ran straight back to Chuck. Back and forth she ran. She was so fast we couldn’t even say come Daisy. So I guess she out smarted us.

Just wanted to send an update on our Rascal. as this is his 2nd year anniversary of us bringing him home. As you can see he is the "cutest doggie in the world." Everyone that meets him comments on how sweet his temperament and personality is. I credit that to you all for your dedicated and conscientious breeding. Also wanted to let you know that Rascal passed his temperament testing with flying colors to be a therapy dog with Fairfax Pet On Wheels. As a way to give back to the community and share some of Rascal with others, my girls and I will be visiting local area nursing homes in Fairfax area with our little Rascal. Just wanted to send you a few updated pictures and say thanks again. The picture with all of us is during his temperament testing and for our badges for the therapy dog program. By the way, we are thinking about a "sister" for Rascal in the next year or so and hope to be able to call on DCDogfinders again! Thank you for bringing Rascal to us,

We just wanted to let you know how much we LOVE Lincoln (formerly Rudy). He is precious and has been such a great puppy, he is so well behaved and loveable, so thank you for everything! DCDogFinders was great and with so many people asking us where we got him, I'm sure we'll send more than a few referrals your way! I've attached some pictures of Lincoln; since we named him after President Lincoln, we took him to the Lincoln Memorial today for a little photo shoot!! Thanks again,
Amanda and Jared
Thank you for trusting us in your home. I look forward to purchasing more fur babies in the future :)! I will send more pics as she grows

This is Barney. He was born 2/6/08 and he joined our family in April 2008. He is dream come true. We could not have chosen a more adorable puppy. Ron & I fell in love with him the first time we saw him. Our only regret is that we did not bring his sister, Betsy, home as well. Even though she was spoken for when we picked up Barney; she too warmed our hearts the minute we saw her. I am sure I would have had my hands full with two puppies. Barney has been a delight; however he is quite a handful; full of energy, very playful and lots of company. Just wanted to let you know that our experience with you was amazing. You were very helpful and informative the first time we spoke. I was so impressed by your enthusiasm; your caring attitude and your obvious love for all of your puppies. Anytime someone expresses an interest in purchasing a puppy, I always refer them to DCDogfinders!
Best wishes to you, Ron & Denise
DCDogFinders, Our puppy is nine months old now, and she is the constant center of attention. It was suppose to be my puppy, but she has taken the hearts of my husband, daughter and son. We have named her Cali (was Miley) after our love for Lake Tahoe, Cali fornia. Attached is a photo of Cali with my daughter on Lake Tahoe. She has been the sweetest addition to our family and rules the house including our five year old Bernice Mountain Dog. With warmest regards,
Sandy Singer
He has been all play this morning!! Loving the kids. I woke them up earlier this morning so they could play with him. I let him so get them up out of their beds. I think he was just a little overwhelmed last night with new people. We wined a few times in the middle of the night but nothing more than 30 seconds at a time and then went back to sleep. He is eating good and has pooped a ton! Lol. Still working on the pee pads. He used them when he was in the bath room last night but he is forgetting when in the rest of the house.I may call you later and get advice on training him. I have had cats and older dogs, but the puppy thing is a little new for me. I just want to make sure I am doing it right so he catches on and doesn't get more confused :) attaching some pics for you!!
Lana
Just stopping by to say hello. Lollipop is growing by leaps and bounds. I have had dogs all of my life, but I have NEVER, EVER had so many puppy kisses from any of my dogs combined. Lovable is such an understatement when it comes to her. Hope you are well. Just wanted to say hi. Enjoy the summer.
Blessing,Maxine and Lollipop
Merry Christmas
Michelle, Zach and Tucker.
We are just dropping a line to say hello and update you on the progress of BOSCO (Formerly known as FRANKIE). We decided to change his name so it can match his big sister COCOA. So now we have COCOA & BOSCO, a chocolate theme. We wanted to thank you again for the opportunity for BOSCO to become a member of our family and the excellent work you do in ensuring these beautiful pets find a safe and loving home. COCOA and BOSCO love each other and play all day. They both sleep with us in bed and follow us everywhere. Some of the things they do will make you laugh, they are very smart. We took BOSCO to the vet and he got a clean bill of health and he weighs 5 pounds. He starts puppy kindergarten next week, we are very excited. We have attached a picture of COCOA and BOSCO getting ready for a walk. We wish you a happy and safe summer season. All the best to you and your family.
Sincerely, Steve & Alfie
We just wanted to send a picture of Darby Davidson! He's our little ShihChon! He's so adorable and so much fun to be around. And we're amazed at how well behaved and smart he is! He's grown a couple pounds since this picture, but he's still small and cute, the way we like him. He'll be getting his first haircut next week, so we're really excited for that. Darby has been a great addition to our family. We can't imagine not having him around anymore. We're even looking into adding another doggie to the family as a buddy for him. Thanks to everyone at DCDogfinders, your dogs are really great! Sincerely,
Molly and Scott Davidson
I am including a couple of pictures of Cosette with our daughter, Angelica. She refers to Cosette as her sister :-) We will send another update when Cosette gets a little bigger- we can't wait to watch her grow up!
It has been such a pleasure to work with DCDogfinders--we will certainly highly recommend you to all of our friends and would love to come back for another puppy at some point down the road.
Sincerely,
Anne Ashurst

We enjoyed meeting you both yesterday and hope you are feeling even better today! Fonzi is doing great - he has really adjusted well to our home and is eating/sleeping wonderfully. He slept great last night also and has such a nice temperament. We love him so much and are soooo happy to have him as part of our family:). Thanks for everything!

Hi Avery,
It's your little pal Tucker here! I thought I'd send you some pictures and updates from my new home! My mommy decided to keep the name Tucker. She thought it fit with my personality!!
I'm adjusting well here! I didn't even cry at night when I came home! I'm eating like a champ now. I love to play in my playpen with my new toys and the toys from your house. That
chew stick you gave me is great! My Aunt Lindsay comes over to play with me too.
My mommy is teaching me to go to the bathroom outside. I still have some accidents, but I'm trying hard! Above all, I still sleep most of the day! I don't like getting up at 4:30 every
morning, but mom says that's part of our schedule, so I'm learning. I love to snuggle with my mom. She has a fleece blanket that is extra cozy, and I love when she rubs my belly.
Everyone who has seen my picture thinks I'm the cutest thing ever! Mommy's parents live in Buffalo, and they Face Time with me every night. I think they love me more than her! They
can't wait to visit and meet me.
It's time for another nap, but I just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm doing well!
Love and kisses from your pal,
Tucker
Thanks again for making my Christmas extra special. I'm having such a great time with Kirby. I just have to tell you Kirby has added so much JOY to my life that past two days. He is such a cutie pie, and loves giving his mommy lots of kisses. Thanks again My God continue to bless you and your family

We have renamed Gabbie to "Daisy" and she says hello to you both! As you mentioned, she is such a wonderful puppy and we're so happy with her! We love her personality in every way. She has been going to the bathroom regularly and she is starting to go outside more often but of course there are also accidents inside. She is eating regularly, has a great appetite, loves to play, has had a lot of downtime for sleeping, and hasn't had any problems yet which is wonderful. She does cry/bark when we leave her in the play pen but I think she is getting used to it. I've attached some pictures and a video for you to see her. You'll see that in one picture, we tried to block one of our doorways out of the kitchen and she was trying to get out!Thank you!
Lilly and Ross
I wanted to thank you again for our Reesie (Lucy). She has been an absolute love these last few weeks! Sleeping well and immediately comfortable with our family. I attribute her loving personality to her early days with you. We couldn't possibly love her more and are showering her with love and attention. She TRUELY is our fur baby these days??! Thank you again
Walt, Debbie, Chris, Amanda Koehler
It was so nice to meet both of you on Saturday! We are all absolutely in love with Cooper! Our girls were so shocked and excited when we brought him home. Cooper is doing great and seems to have adjusted easily into our home. He is such a sweet little guy, loves to play but ultimately is a total cuddle bug and boy does he like to get his belly rubbed! Thank you for all the great information and tools. We will definitely continue to send pics as he gets older. Thanks again for all you do and for breeding such a wonderful little pup! Tell your niece she did a great job on his name :) Everyone loves it!
Three people friends means three doggy friends! Tucker is 2, Billy is 1 and Tyson is 4 months. They all love each other. Thanks dc dog finders for filling all three of our homes and hearts!
Hi DCDogfinders, Just a few holiday pictures of our little Rascal and update on him. Rascal will be turning 2 in February and he continues to be a great pup and companion to us all. He is an adorable dog with a great personality. The girls love him to bits as do I. Thanks again for bringing him into our family.
The Swinnertons
Hello Elizabeth and John,
I wanted to send you this picture of Maddie and Rosie. They have already brought a lot of joy and they are doing great with house training-only a handful of accidents so far - yay!
I took them to the vet on Monday, Maddie is 3.11 lbs and Rosie is 2.6 lbs. They are both eating and drinking good amounts, sleeping and going potty good amounts, and playing a lot :)
Our girls changed their names, Maddie is now Sophie and Rosie is now Bella.
We love having little friends in the house again and we have a lot of love to give them.
We will take good care of both of them.
Tammy Wrigley
Hope you have been well! I'm sure you are super busy finding puppies new homes but just wanted to update you with some really cute pics of Teddy. He gets soooo much love from everyone that meets him and hears how adorable he is. I've been spreading the word to everyone that asks about how great DCDogFinders was. He's continuing to grow and is so heavy now. Think he's about 20 lbs. now. In case you forgot what he used to look like I will attach his baby pic. :P He's socially so friendly with other dogs but he's more of a people lover and goes NUTS with even strangers! He has brought so much love and joy to my husband and I and we are so thankful to you! Hope you have a wonderful spring!Sincerely,
Lauren Kim
DCDogfinders, Thank you so much for sending Dillon my way. He is such a joy and an significant part of my life now. After multiple attempts to find a puppy when I first moved here, your services were one of the best and I only talk great things about DCDogFinders. Dillon is now a year old and a huge cloud of personality. Here is his very first picture with Santa. Thank you soo much for helping me find my new addition!!!

Just a couple quick pics of little Tinka in her new home! She's doing really well. She has slept a good bit and eaten, drank a lot of water and has done some playing tonight! She even tinkled on the pee pad a couple times! She loves following Zoey around and Zoey has been doing very well with her! Thank you for all your helpful advice. We will send more pics soon!
Moira and Russ Haynal
We love our puppy Chessie (short for Chesapeake)! She is such a wonderful addition to our family. She even gets along with Juan, our almost 8-year-old house rabbit. She's sleeping through the night, and she comes when I call, which is very handy when we're outside. She's quite smart, very friendly, and such a beautiful little pup. What a perfect combination! Thank you!
The Christensen Family
Hello Guys, I just have to thank you again for my new baby Cookie (Sasha). She is a bundle of joy and energy. She was a little quiet when she arrived home but quickly came around. She actually decided to help me to study for my final exam. I thought I would share a couple of photos as I promised. I will keep you updated on Sasha's progress. Thanks again.

John 3:16 ~ For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. That whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
Sparky is eating, drinking and doing well. He had a pretty good night and is tired today so we are trying to give him plenty of rest. He's a real sweetie and we can tell what a good home he had with you!Best,
Alwyn
I promised to give you an update on my puppy and it's hard to believe that she is already five months old! I picked up Bella Easter weekend, and it was the best gift I've ever had. I haven't had a pet since I was a child and at 52, was a little leery of the responsibility. But my marriage ended last year and I had been wanting some sort of connectedness... and a pup seemed like a good option. I have to tell you that this little gem "unfroze my heart" in a matter of minutes, and has been doing her magic ever since. Every day she is a constant joy and she teaches me something new. She "makes me stretch" and has made me start living again. I could regale you with a million stories about how my Bella is the best dog ever, but you've probably heard that already from your many other satisfied customers. She is the belle of doggie daycare, knows every neighbor in my community (and has ensured that I do as well!) and in general is just an adorable doggie diva. Attached are some current pictures. Enjoy. Thanks again for your terrific work. You - and your pups - bring great joy into people's lives every day.
Gail
Here's a quick note just to let you know that Bella has adjusted amazingly fast to her new home. She is on a great schedule and is eating, drinking, playing, going potty mostly outside and of course, giving me lots and lots of love.Thank you so much for allowing me to add her to my life.We are both extremely happy and are adjusting well.Promise I will send pictures!Again thanks for all you do!Fondly,
Bella and Rita

From the Jackson Family!

My youngest Caitlyn and Sophie are completely in love. She loves to chase her around the house. She doesn't seem to want the wet food but is really starting to eat her dry food. We have a sun room which seems to be her favorite place in the house.Thank you again for everything!!

We have another update. We have named her Kandi – she is the sweetest and most loving dog and gets along really well with our other dog. She is about 8 lbs and we just got her back from her first grooming appointment. Can’t imagine our lives without her.The vet says she is perfectly healthy. I attached some photos.
Thank you!

John and I thought we would update you all with some pics of Gemini. As you can see from the pics, he is a very playful puppy... and is spoiled rotten by Daddy and Mommy. He enjoys running in the grass, chasing leaves, sleeping on his back and anything that involves playtime with Daddy. Although he hasn't really picked up the habit of playing fetch... Daddy already has him watching Pittsburgh Steelers' games on Sunday. Thank you both and DCdogfinders for bringing this active little bundle of joy into our lives.
John and Jennifer
Home safely.
Thanks !!
Christina
Getting settled in nicely. Teddy and Julie are happy.
Thanks again
We are very sorry for the long overdue email. We have been very busy with the unexpected house repair, but everything is alright now. Our little baby Brody is doing remarkably well, despite the rough first week with us. Thank you for all your wonderful advice that you gave us on how to take care of him during those sick days. You were very resourceful, THANK YOU! Today he is flourishing, healthy, energetic, and adores our boys so much! He is such a blessing to our family.Sincerely

DCDogFinders - Cooper and I are enjoying our second week together, and are starting puppy classes tonight! He is so cute to watch at the dog parks where he tries to run with the big dogs, and he is already the favorite pup in my building! I've been wanting a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for so long, and he is exactly what I wanted. I kiss the cute little "blenheim spot" on top of his head everyday! Thank you so much!!
Marcy
DCdogfinders,

Hello DCDogFinders family, I just wanted to send a quick note and some pictures of the beautiful puppy I bought from you in January, Mimi (now Chloe). She has brought so much life and happiness to my home. I can't thank you enough. When it is time for Chloe to get a little sister, I will be contacting you! Thank you again!!!
Jacqui
I wanted to drop a line and send you some pictures of Snickers- we renamed him Koda. With his color and stubby tail and when he walks he looks like a little bear. It has been 6 months since we bought Koda into our home. It was an adjustment for all of us, like any new addition. But now Koda is a great little boy! He loves his family and is always under is mommy's feet. His poodle sister rough house all the time, like all children. Thank you again for giving us our boy.
Matt, Shelley, Breanne & Raena Mocha & Koda
Thank you, Gabby has adjusted very well. No whining after the first night! as hoped, she follows Teagan everywhere.
Good morning from Hughie and Lila (Coco)!Just like you said, it took a few days for the two puppies to get acquainted, but now Hughie and Lila have become fast friends! Lila is doing great and I think she is acclimating even faster than Hughie did because she has a playmate in her new home.Thank you so much!

Hi DCDogFinders Gang, Thank you so much helping us find our two boys. I adopted chewy which i renamed him "PRESTON" on 7/11/08. He is such a big boy. He loves to play fight and chew on socks and chases everyone's socks. He is so loving and I adore him. He is my Prince! I also adopted a second puppy on 7/18/08, Wilbur, which we renamed "JAZ". He is sooo little and sooo cute and he loves him some Preston. They are inseparable. They play with each other all day long. Little "Jaz" is more laid back and loves to relax, but when he sees "Preston" he gets all hyped and they start playing. Just wanted to say thank you for everything and thank you for these two babies of ours! Thank you DCDogFinders!

Merry Christmas from the Booth family with Paris!

Good morning from Dayton! Just a quick email to let you know how I have been since I left your house last evening. The car ride was long, but I stayed quiet in the carrier and slept some on the way. Mommy Julie and Nathan kept a close eye on me while we traveled. I did fine! Once we reached Dayton, Daddy Brad took me outside to potty...I didn't have to go. When I got inside my new home, everything was ready for me. My new family had the same food I was used to...and boy, was I hungry and thirsty. I only woke up 2 times during the night, but when I was awake, I was missing my familiar surroundings...and everyone knew it! However, I quickly settled down and went back to sleep. I'm up this morning and having lots of fun playing with my new "boys". I'll soon be ready for another nap. Soccer has been cancelled because the fields are under water due to rain in Harrisonburg overnight...so I'll have company all day. Mommy and Daddy will make sure that I get plenty of rest and down time, so don't worry. My new family has a black and white cat named "Whiskers." Right now he doesn't know what to think of me, but I think we'll become friends soon. Tell my doggy mommy and my brother and sisters that I miss them, but I will be OK...I'm in good hands. I miss you too, but don't worry...if I need you, my new family will be in touch.Have a great day! I know I will.
Love,Cooper... aka Bucky
Just wanted to send a quick note and let you know that Toby settled in right away. He and Brooke ( formerly Sparkles ) seem to be long lost siblings :) We jokingly call them the "twins." I have twins sons, one dark hair and one blonde, the funny thing too is they came home from the hospital 2 weeks apart, very similar to the puppies. Thank you so much for what you do.
Maureen
We hope all is well with you! We adopted this great, little puppy (Cody, now called Baxter) from you on September 5. We just wanted to tell you what a wonderful addition he is to our family. He's a perfect, healthy, lovable, sweet little dog. We're so grateful our friend recommended DCDogFinders to us!
Maryanne & Joby Warrick
Thanks ever so much for Bruce (gold tag) and Clark (blue tag). They are the perfect pair. I am glad I took the two of them. They comfort each other when they are afraid and tease each other with snacks or toys or people. They are Steelers fans just like their people. They have laid claim to my husband's Steelers blanket and actually wrap themselves up in it. They are very intelligent, but you didn't warn me that they were part parrot, part cat. They love to climb across the back of the furniture and sit on our shoulders! I would highly recommend your puppies to anyone looking for a new pet/family member.
Thanks, Charlene
Bad news. I'm not sure Cooper likes it at our home with us.... Please see attached photos. He does not seem to be adjusting well. Ha ha ha .... ;-)
Cassie
I just thought I would share with you guys how much we love Ginger, now Molly. She is 15 weeks today and we have loved every minute with her. She adjusted so well and now she even has a friend, Zoe. Molly is the most adventurous puppy and has no fear. Attached is a picture of her with her first encounter with a horse. haha she loved him.

Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying the little guy. He is training beautifully. He holds all night. He lives to play with Coco. He has been groomed already. His fur grows like wildfire. He is already 7 pounds and the vet says that he is perfect! He will probably be around 15 pounds at full growth. He likes to go up and down the stairs as well. We really enjoy having him! Thanks so much for everything!
Toni and Steven Linzer
Merry Christmas! We are so happy with Coco (now Heidi). She is a bundle of Christmas joy. Is she adorable or what??

DCDogFinders, Here are some updated photos of Lincoln (Chopper) – he’s doing great!!! We start puppy classes next month! Thanks again,
Bonnie & Linc
Thank you so much for Bailey who has been renamed to Teddy because he is just a sweet little teddy bear that we have already come to adore and love. Teddy seems to be happy with his new home. He has lots of toys, blankets, two play pens, and his very own bed. We can't move around to fast anymore cause he's right under your feet. I'll be in the kitchen cooking or doing dishes and he's just laying on my feet. Gotta move easy so as not to step on the little fella. My husband had said we don't need a dog, dogs are too much work, and dogs take up too much of your time. Well he has a new attitude Teddy has already won him over. He now feels that Teddy needs a friend to keep him company when we're at work so he won't get lonely. Yea right! We'll see. However, I just want to say thank you guys for all you do. I have looked into adopting a pet and the cost of a dog at the pet stores in the malls. They were too much for me especially after you include the cost of vet, food, toys, and bedding it can add up quickly. I wanted a little dog for a while, but was concerned about the cost. You made this affordable and friendly and he smelled nice too! Add me and Mike to your list of very happy customers.
Ho yea and Teddy too!
Hello I'm home and happy I had my first mud bath at the rest area :) thanks so much the girls are in heaven star even getting to know him quite well happy holidays
Here is a picture of Mylo formerly known as Scoobie letting you know he is bundle of joy and spoiled rotten he has his own room and was easily potty trained.

Hello! I just wanted to update you on how well Kona is doing. He went to visit my parents this past weekend and I have attached a picture of him in his car seat. He is not too happy with me in the picture because he is in the back seat and not the front with me. Kona is a ball of energy and has brought so much joy in my life. When I get more time I will send more pictures.

This is Suzi Nowak, the family that bought Cody, now known as ROCKET. Was just thinking about you for the last few weeks and thought I'd send a quick note and give you a new picture! lolI am amazed how fast this little guy has grown. Rocket is such a good little dog, and quite cute. He's lost the dark circle around his eye (which I miss) and doesn't look puppy-ish anymore. He is funny when it comes to going outside... he won't go first. He always waits at the door, as if to say "Im not going unless you do." Hoping all is well with you and your family & all the puppies!! We were blessed with ours! He has started this new thing though... He stands at my bedroom door EVERY DAY at 6:30 am and barks continually till I get up and say good morning. lol... I wish he would wait till 7:30! lol...
Enjoy!!!Suzi
We just wanted to give you a super big THANK YOU for Harvey aka Pokey :) he is a very smart dog and adjusts very well. He was anxious in the car when we took him home but once we entered our home, he was just a happy, playful, affectionate puppy. He follows our Izzy all the time and she calls him her PFF Puppy Friends Forever. I was concerned that he didn't have appetite but once he had his play and running around, he was hungry! We gave him his vitamins and he likes it :) he had some "accidents" inside but this morning he actually did his business outside our yard. He is very very smart. He cried for a little bit last night but eventually realized he had to sleep in his own bed. He slept well and maybe woke up twice and had his little "accident". We have so much photos of him already and everybody wants to meet him. I told them they have to wait for a bit until he has his down time.We will keep you posted and send tons of photos. And you can call me or visit him anytime, we are not too far ?????
Many, many thanksFaith, Joon and Izzy Chang
Hi DCDogFinders, I just wanted to share a photo of Cuddles. Our little guy is weighing in at 7 lbs. and just graduated from puppy classes. Cuddles has changed our lives so much and we are really enjoying.
Thank you, Terri
DCDogFinders, We adopted Sadie (Shih-Chon) and Ajax (Yorkie-Poo) in June and they instantly bonded with our girls, Lauren, Madeline and Grace! We love them so much and they're so happy in their new home! Potty training is going great! Ajax will go to the back sliding door and bark to go out! Sadie is never far behind because she doesn't want to miss out on anything! They have been on two camping trips (VA Beach and Natural Bridge, VA) and to Myrtle Beach already this summer! They are so well behaved and love traveling. They sleep the whole time they're in the car, either on our laps or in between the kids. We couldn't be happier with them and wanted to thank you for all they've done for us! We started night crating them, but just like newborns, they cried in the middle of the night. So up they came with my husband and I in bed. And there they will stay! They sleep through the night now!
The Deveney Family
Dear DCDogFinders, Just thought I would drop you a line and let you know that Wilbur has adjusted very well to his new home! My family was very surprised and love him. He loves to follow the kids around and sit and nap with them while they are watching tv and doing homework. I will forward you a picture of Wilbur and my two sons, and also a picture of Wilbur sleeping on top of my German Sheppard. He has also been napping with our cat! Thanks again, and keep up the good work. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with you.
Harry
I can't believe it has been almost a year ( 9 months) since Jasper aka Kobe became a member of our family. He is loyal, smart and quite an active puppy. Just want to share a couple of recent photos, including his first grooming/cut . I have referred a couple of people to DCDogFinders who have fallen for our Kobe, who is so adorable. All the best,
The Knights
Happy Labor Day weekend! I hope all is well. I just wanted to send you an updated picture of my young pup who is full of soo much energy.....hahahaha. He is actually my workout trying to keep up with him.He went to the vet and got a clean bill of health. The vet even said his is a strong little guy (which he is). He now weighs 7.1 lbs and is getting long!Anyway, I just wanted to send you a little update on how he is doing :-)Take Care,

We are home and she is settling in so nicely! She loves her big puppy brother tons and he adores her! They are playing all over and she is happy and tail wagging like crazy. So great to meet you today! Thank you again! We already can tell she is a perfect fit and we adore her.Chat soon I'm sure! More photos to come.
Lauren
Thank you both for the precious puppy we brought home this weekend MILO we adore him. I must admit when I saw the PUPPYMILL piece on OPRAH was terrified to visit any breeder.. but what a delight to see where and how you puppies live. I must admit they are cared for better than most children (ha ha) I am a principal at my school for over 14 yrs and the care and dedication that you provide for your pups is "TOP DRAWER" all the way!

Hi here is our Xmas card.

Here's a picture of Cooley (Toby) and Kerrigan (Teddy) all ready forgameday yesterday! They're doing pretty well adjusting. Toby's stools are a little loosebut I'm keeping a close eye on them and will give him some pumpkin ifthe problem continues. Teddy's stools are fine. They're both eatingand drinking well, although Teddy tries to eat all of their food. We're trying to come up with a good solution for that. They alreadyhave separate food bowls but they inevitably stick their heads in thesame one despite repeated attempts to move them. We may have to justfeed them the canned food at separate times. Same issue with goingoutside to do their business.Potty training is obviously going to take a while and I haven't seenany great connections yet. They roughhouse A LOT but they do seem totake turns being the Alpha dog. I just don't want them to hurt eachother. I know that's not one of the things you address in your packetso any ideas would be appreciated since you deal with multiple dogs. Thanks for any ideas you could give us about our issues and thanks forgiving the pups such loving attention.
Patti and John Dezelick
Thank you all for such a wonderful and pleasant experience yesterday! We are so in love with this sweet boy already! He slept the entire way home in the laundry basket and is settling in nicely! Here are a few pics!!
We just wanted to let you know Harry (who we adopted in July and was attacked by the bulldogs in August) is doing extremely well. The doctor took the cast off his leg after 3 weeks and his jaw cast was taken off about 2 weeks after that. The kids and I really bonded with him during this time because we had to walk for him and hand feed him a liquid diet several times a day. All the hard work was worth it because he's a wonderful little guy and a true member of our family. He's almost completed a puppy kindergarten class and picks up commands and tricks very quickly. We still have to watch him around strange dogs because he's got such a forgiving nature, he still wants to say "hi" to everyone, but we won't take any chances with him. Our family wishes you all a Happy Holiday Season and a Wonderful New Year!
Cherry, Paul, Philip, Sam, Olivia, Lili, Vivienne and Harry
p.s. my husband returned from Afghanistan in November and is very happy his "family gift" is well loved and healthy
We are so in love with this puppy, newly christened "Huxley." He has been SO good, and really quiet as he gets used to us. He loves to burrow and we can tell he likes company but he does not like to be brushed.Thank you so very much for all the information you have given us, for your time yesterday, and mostly for this beautiful, sweet puppy. We promise to take very good care of him. Huxley has lots of dog and human friends looking forward to meeting him.Happy Independence Day!All the best,
The Young FamilySuzanne, Sonny, Jesse, Alex and Huxley
Wanted to pass along the latest photo of "the girls". They are cheering on their favorite team and are the center of our lives!
Thank you for everything-

We hope this email finds you well.It is hard to believe, but Ginger is a year old today! To mark the occasion, we wanted to share some photos that we just took of her after she had her “day at the spa” (aka grooming). She is happy and healthy and we couldn’t be more pleased with our little girl!Take care.
Kim
Just checking in with you to let you know Bella is adjusting well in her new home. We absolutely love her. I've included a few photos. We're all adjusting together and will keep you posted.

DCDogfinders.com, Hi my name is Desiree Hackney and I purchased a male Yorkiepoo for my daughter on June 19th. I just wanted to say thank you for making this a very informative and comfortable purchase. His new name is Reese and he has quickly grown on us. We love this little puppy so much, even when he is having an accident on the carpet 4inches from the potty pad. He just melts my heart!!!! So again I just wanted to thank you guys so much and I will definitely refer you to anymore looking for a new addition to their family.
Desiree
We love Dodger so much already and it was a pleasure meeting you all!!
Hi DCDogfinders family, My husband and I bought a Bichon and Shih Tzu from you over a year ago, and I just wanted to send you guys some pictures. I know it's been over a year, I am so off with timing, but I know you will enjoy seeing the babies. Nila is the Bichon and Bella is the Shih Tzu. They love each other so much and they are always playing around and jumping all over the place. Everywhere we go people ask us where we got them and they want a puppy!!! I always refer them to you guys. Even someone at the vet we go to was thinking about getting a cute little one. Thanks for everything!!!
Lashawn and Quincey
Hope you are doing well. Wanted to give you an update on Simba (formerly Cooper) who won 1st place for best costume in his puppy training class last night as a TACO!! Next week is the pre-test and then we have the final test. He has definitely progressed in the class and the hardest is heel and staying in the down position...he only holds it for like 2 seconds but we are working on it! There is a Brittany spaniel and a Boykin spaniel in his class and they LOVE playing together and all 3 are VERY food motivated...go figure. I also attached a pic of him with my nieces and nephew and then just the 2 of us relaxing watching some Sunday football :)

All is well with our little girl. We've decided to name her Indira (like Indira Gandhi). She is very active and she certainly eats--all the time! I am amazed at how she and our pug, Cosimo, are fast friends. They are inseparable. He is very protective of her--he won't even eat from his own bowl until he sees she's eaten as much of his food as she wants. We were a little nervous that he might accidentally be rough with her because he is much larger--18 pounds to her 4 pounds--but, in fact, she usually ends up chasing him around the house! She seems very happy. She whines a little at night, but we've just been getting up and holding her a bit until she quiets down. Thanks so much for raising our little love bundle!
Very best, Paula & Jeremy
Just wanted to say thank you so much and to let you know Bella and Chloe have hit it off unbelievably well. They love each other so much already! We would love to come see you again someday!
Teresa
Hi DCDogFinders We just wanted to let you know that we love Shelby (formerly Zoe) so much! We have had her for about 5 weeks now but you would think she'd been with us forever. She lets my son Caleb drag her all about and never puts up a fuss. She rarely ever barks, in fact I think she had been here a month before we ever heard a bark from her. She sleeps wonderfully in her crate at night and doesn't make a peep until we let her out in the morning. It only took a few nights to get into that routine which was amazing. We've been to the vet and she now weighs 5 pounds. The potty training is coming along nicely. She definitely knows what to do when we take her outside but she's not all the way clear yet on the fact that she shouldn't do her business inside. I think we're real close though. We did get this awesome little Bissel thing called a SpotBot which I would highly recommend for anyone with carpet and a new puppy. It works beautifully and is super easy. We just wanted to thank you so much for making this possible for us. We really wanted a sweet and friendly family dog and that's exactly what we got. She couldn't be much sweeter. The first thing my son says in the morning when he wakes up is, "Where's my puppy?" We're thinking hard about a puppy sister for Shelby so you'll probably hear from us again soon! Thanks again. Here are a few of the cutest photos!
Jamie, Billy, and Caleb Childress
Dear DCDogFinders, My husband and I wanted to thank you so much for Gracie Elizabeth Breeyear. We got her back on January 6th and she is the most wonderful dog. I wanted to send a couple pictures of her. She has brought so much joy to our lives and everyone that meets her, wants to know where did we get her. We have recommended your family business to so many of our friends and strangers that meet Gracie.
Thanks again, Tim and Amy
Thank you for entrusting us with two of your little fur babies. Rosie and Teddy are settled in, tummy's full and comfy with Randy.
Meg
I just wanted to send a quick and tell you how in love we are with Olive! She is such a good girl and makes our lives so much happier! She loves to play with all her friends and give the best puppy kisses. Here are a few photos. I also just posted on the DCDogFinders FB page. She is good friends with another Shichon from DCDogFinders, Rugelach. Thanks again for bringing such joy to our family.
Kari
Thank you DCDogFinders!!! You guys were such a big help with all of our decision making and we love our new puppy:)
Meghan:)
Hi DCDogFinders gang, I just wanted to let you know that Tinkerbell is doing absolutely wonderful!! She starts puppy training classes at Petsmart on July 28. She's starting to lose her baby teeth. She's growing up soo fast. She got her hair cut so now all of her black hair is gone but thats ok because she still looks cute with her grey hair. She's seriously the cutest puppy in the whole world! She has really brought so much happiness to my life. I'm so lucky:) Thank you for giving me the worlds best puppy!!! I have attached some pictures of her. The first one was the day we brought her home and the rest are more recent. I'll keep you guys updated on her. Hope you guys are doing good!!

Penny Abigail born July 27, 2008 and adopted by the Grogan family on October 3, 2008. It was a rough beginning for our new family member. She spent the first few days in the ER. Now, Penny weighs 6.4lbs and is a bundle of energy! She LOVES balls of yarn, giving kisses and playing tug a war. She is the smartest puppy in her class. She was asked to enroll in the immediate puppy class to learn tricks! She is picky about what she eats now! She does not play with rocks anymore. She would bite them and try to push them across the lawn! She love organic beef liver treats, organic dry food and antler bones! She is still on a strictly organic diet until she reaches the age of one. She loves to run and play. She loves to play with other dogs. She goes to "doggy daycare" (my sister's house) and plays with Jayme (the Jack Russell) every Saturday! Sometimes I thinks she loves going over there more than anything else, just because she knows she will be able to play with Jayme! She still purrs like a kitten. And she will let us know when she wants to go outside to do her business! She is very smart and a good companion. I have attached her latest photograph. Penny is by far the cutest puppy I have ever seen! I am happy she is a part of our family. Have a wonderful, peaceful holiday!
Wendy and Davienne
I purchased a dog from you in October (Tinka) a YorkiePoo and she has been such a blessing. Upon bringing her home we changed her name to Renny. I never thought I could be one of those "dog people" that I used to poke fun at. Well as the saying goes, if you can't beat them join them! At the time I purchased Renny I was having some difficulty in a relationship that I was in...since Renny came into our lives things seemed to have ironed out. My boyfriend and I often joke and say, "I wonder if God made Renny for us?!" I am certain that He did. I am so grateful to you in being the instrument that brought Renny to our lives!
Thank you, Mary
I am writing to tell you how excited we are to have 'Topher" renamed "Koko" by my 6-year-old son, as part of our family. He is such a wonderful dog. I can't imagine our family without him. We had Santa surprise the children in the park. He brought the letter my son wrote to him requesting a puppy for Christmas. My children ages 6 and 2 were beyond excited. They said Santa chose the most perfect puppy for them. Now, everyone that meets this puppy wants one. He is not only beautiful, but he has the best temperament of any dog I have ever met. He is just perfect. I wanted to thank you and everyone I had contact with at DC Dog finders. I researched what type of dog would be best for my family for many months, and put in the same amount of effort into deciding where I should purchase him. I live in Pennsylvania so I had to do my research. You were so knowledgeable and made sure I had all the information necessary prior to leaving. It's obvious the passion you all have for what you do, and it shows in our puppy's personality. We were so impressed by the surroundings in which the puppies were raised. What a beautiful set up. We couldn't be happier.Thank you for everything and for making our Christmas extra special.
Melanie Donnelly
To DCDogfinders Just wanted to take a second and update you on our wonderful Zoe. She's 6 months old now and the best thing that ever happened to us. We spend hours together on the weekend at the local dog park and we're always telling people that DCDogfinders is where she came from and that you're the best. Thanks again and best to you all!

I want to thank you for Yaya (Yorkie-Poo) formerly name Princess.
Tanya, De'Angelo, Alonzo and Jeromeka
Hi Elizabeth!
I hope that everything with your home is proceeding as smoothly as possible. I just want to let you know that Zander (his name is now Bentley) is doing great! I have attached a picture
of him and Barkley together. They are truly two peas in a pod. Just curious, are they related? People keep asking me and I just say they're from the same breeder. By any chance, do
they share either the same mother or father? Thank you again for everything. I cannot tell you how much joy you've brought to my life! Barkley and Bentley are precious!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Easter from Bella. One year ago on easter I got her, and she's the 'gift that keeps on giving." (-:

Jenn and I wanted to send you a pic of Mr. Feeny and Owyn. We are so very blessed to have him come into our lives and it would not have been possible without you and your family. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

Hi There DCDogFinders, This is almost embarrassing sending what I promised almost a year ago, but here are pictures of our happy family. Brent, Danielle, and our little angel boy BILLY! We adopted him last October and he has completely changed our lives. We are so in love and he has made a life as newlyweds turn upside down and become a true family. My husband Brent is a goaltender for the Washington Capitals, and it breaks his heart going on road trips now because not only does he have to leave his wife for a few days, but now his "son". We couldn't be happier with our little guy. Thank you for everything, and again sorry it has taken so long to get these pictures to you!! xoxo,
The Johnson Family
Good Moring DCDogFinders, I LOVE YOU! Your family has been the saving grace for our family. When we lost our little Lilly after 19yrs we were devastated. I purchased a puppy from your grandfather 19yrs ago and loved her everyday to the fullest. What a pleasure to meet you and your husband. You amaze me in the obvious care and commitment that you provide your puppies and parents. We LOVE our little COOPER and love the fact that they were raised with the same LOVE Lilly had been give so many years ago.
GOD BLESS YOU!
Cheryl and Buck
Hi,
My name is Cathy Sterling and we purchased a Yorki Poo back in March. He is wonderful and doing well. I have attached a photo for you! if you would like to put it on your web site maybe you can crop it. We will have pictures to share this summer of Tucker on the boat, he loves the water and floats on a raft in our pool. Just thought I would share. Thank you so much J
Cathy Sterling
It was definitely worth the drive from New York.
Thanks Denielle
I just wanted to send you some pictures of Toby (formerly checkers). He is the sweetest little thing, and we love love him to pieces! The first week we had a really hard time leaving him for work, but we make up for it by cuddling and playing a ton when we are home! Thank you so much for our wonderful little guy! Right now I am sitting at my desk, so excited to see Cody! I'm excited that Toby is going to have a cousin to play with! Thank you soo much! I'll send pictures of Cody soon!
Janelle
We have a tradition of doing “The Great Pumpkin” from the Charlie Brown movies-and The Great Pumpkin brought Posey a superhero cape-because she is a super puppy:) Hope you get some time to rest and recover once you get back from your trip!
I wanted you to have a picture of "Miss Molly" at work. Miss Molly's job is to serve as my second spell checker, a very tiring job as you can see. She comes with me to the office everyday and has become my shadow. She is one lucky dog because my associate here is the office loves dogs and has become Miss Molly's "Day Mom". Of course, when we are home, Trudy takes over as "Night Mom". It doesn't get any better than that. Trudy and I will see you Saturday morning to pick up "Scout". We have already picked out a name for him. We are going to name him "Cousin Zeke" and call him Zeke. So the pair will be referred to as "Miss Molly and Cousin Zeke". HAPPY TRAILS!
Mike and Trudy Moore

This is Jeremy. My girlfriend and I bought Theo (formerly known as Lucas) in October. Our friends met him and fell in love and were hoping that there was another lhasa-chon litter on the horizon. Please let me know if you have these pups in the oven!
Thanks, Jeremy
The pic is of Theo at 5 months, with our Bichon Darla in the background
We are so thrilled with our little Posey (formerly Lola). We made it home safely to Austin, TX., last evening. She sat quietly or slept on my lap or in the dog carrier at my feet in the car the whole trip. We stopped regularly and would run and play with her and then in the hotels at night. She also was amazingly quiet at night. And last night in her new home she whimpered for a couple minutes and then slept through the night! She has had NO accidents in the house so far, not even at night. We have never had such a sweet, lovable, teachable, compliant, quiet, wanting to please and follow us everywhere puppy. We love her.I know the long trip was not recommended but since if forced us to have such a long, uninterrupted time with her I feel like we are already bonded. I'm sure the trip was easier because she is a little older. I am in my office now (at home) and she is sleeping on a little bed next to me.
Blessings,Christie Thollander
Yea, we said we wouldn't be those dog owners, but . . . THEY'RE SO CUTE!!! =) May the holiday season bring you and your family much joy and love.
Sincerely Tony & Krista Tran
Hey DCDogfinders.com, We just want to thank you for helping us find the right puppy for our family. We adopted Sprinkles about a month ago but we renamed him P-Jay. He brings so much joy to our family. We have been looking for a dog for a long time and we were so lucky to find you. P-Jay fits so well with the family and we love him so much. We have been telling everybody about DCDogFinders. Thank you for everything. It was well worth the drive. Thanks,
The Rodriguez Family
Hi DCDogFinders, we hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We sure did!! We've had an amazing few days getting to know our new puppy! The kids have named her Georgie and they are over the moon. Thank you for everything, we really appreciate it and love our new baby to pieces. Sending some pics too!All our best,
Michele and Rich Reiter
Attached please find a copy of our family Christmas card this year – complete with our baby! Ollie is absolutely wonderful! Because he lives with two large dogs, he thinks he is one as well! However, we had to build a ramp for him to go in and out the doggy door because he could not handle the stairs! On occasion he will go to the barn with me so we joke that he is a tough farm dog. But then as soon as he is back in the house, curled up on the bed with his blanket and toy, we tease that he is a fufu dog! He goes everywhere with us – including the school on Fridays when I help with the weekly art project in 5th grade. They have named this time “Art with Ollie” Ha, Ha! He is so tired after his visits because all the classes know he will be there and teachers all come to “borrow him” so he can be with their students. He is about 10 pounds now and is as cute as can be. He has been quite the blessing to our entire family. You may recall my Dad was having health issues and we have since been told that he is terminal with cancer and we probably only have months left to enjoy our precious time together. Ollie has traveled to and from NY with us many times to spend time with my family and he is soooooo good! Enjoy every moment that God gives you to be with your family and we wish you a safe and blessed holiday season. Sincerely,
Mike, Kathie, Katie, Lindsay, Maddie and Ollie
I just wanted to Thank you and DCDogfinders for our darling Dylen (Jasper), we enjoy him so much. We are still working on pad training but he is so spoiled all ready that I haven't been on time for work since I got him. He sleep with Jazmin so the bed we brought never gets used. Happy Valentine's Day and thanks again for a wonderful and pleasant experience.

Today we went to see a vet for the first time. Everything went very well with Teddy-Shamu, he was very quiet and shy. We got three shots so now we can play with other dogs. He is a very healthy puppy, learning little by little, he already knows sit and down command, it took me only three days to teach him that. I'M VERY PROUD OF MY BABY! He is everything that you can dream of!!!!!! We love him so much and cannot imagine our life without him.

Hello Dear Ms Elizabeth,
thank you so much for the nice email. I dont know where to start to thank you, and how i really can thank you for all you prepared, did, said, how you welcomed us and everything else. We
are all so happy that we had a chance to meet your nice husband and your beautiful yourself. The 24th December afternoon was a exceptional event in our and our daughters life and YOU made
that being that. THANK YOU so much and i am thankful that people like you exist on this earth, because people like you both make this world the place we love and want for our kids and
ourselfs.
Choco is a beautiful dog that we love already so much and we believe that he already accepted us as his family and that he is happy. From the first night he was going potty already
outside and he has done so since then. We had only 2 little accidents which we believe were our fault not his. He is eating fine and he did not whine once, in fact he is wiggling his tail
as soon as he wakes up and sees us. He sleeps next to our bed and he loves the backyard. He loves our daughter and follows her and us everywhere. I would have never imagined what a joy
this could be. Thank you.
Attached i am sending you some pics from our new Love.
Again thank you for everything and we wish you and your husband happy holidays and a very happy, healthy and filled with love new Year 2013.
Warm hugs and wishes
Iliana, David, Angelina and Choco Cintron
Good morning,My name is Madison, we got Beau (I've attached a picture, formally called Duffy) from you in January of 2014. He has become our baby and we love spoiling him! He is the sweetest dog!Thank you,
Madison
It’s been more than a year since Hokie (formerly Sandy) came into our lives. He’s brought so much fun and joy to our family! He is so loving and has quite the personality. I recently was trying to find you site for a friend whose children are so excited for a dog. I sent the site to them and are sure they will find the dog of their dreams as so many other families have.Thank you!!!

Dear DCDogfinders, Ed and I just want to thank you so much for helping us to choose our new family member- he was Kolby when we got him, and we now call him Rupert. We had been looking for a puppy for a while when we found your website, and the way things worked out, we know he was supposed to be our little guy all along! He surprises us all the time- he's hilarious, and super smart. He's learning very quickly and is a very happy puppy. He loves to snuggle and he loves giving puppy kisses! If we decide to get Rupert a brother or sister down the road, we'll be sure to visit you again! Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing us much happiness and for being so passionate about what you do. What you've got going is a wonderful thing.
Thanks again, Linda and Edward
I picked up Lexi (a Cavachon) on Easter weekend last year. Sorry it has taken so long to write to you. I was waiting for her to get to her full weight. She just turned one on 19 January. Lexi is such a sweet dog and she loves all of her puppy (young and old) friends, children, and everyone. She has the sweetest disposition and is very smart. She has learned several tricks and I try to keep her challenged so she doesn't get bored. I am 66 years old and am on disability so she is my constant companion, and I have a hearing problem so I am training her to be my hearing dog. Thanks again for such a wonderful puppy.

Annie sleeping on my sister's counter. The same one she crossed to get a hold of the french vanilla. Slept like a baby. Charmed my sister. Can't find the video of her stalking Don but I'll keep looking.

You both are the greatest and thank you for all you do to make families doggie dreams come true.

DCDogfinders, We want you to know how happy we are with our precious new puppy. Sassy (now named Jilly) is doing very well. She is very healthy and full of life. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect puppy. She is doing well with housetraining and she sleeps all night without a whimper in her cozy crate. I believe she thinks her job is to just give us lots of love and affection all day long. Thank you so much for everything!
The Scanlons
I just wanted to send some sweet photos of Luna (aka Pippa) and Chase. They are 100% at each other’s sides all the time (except when they nap). She designated him her puppy and they are BFF's for sure.Luna figured out her potty training so quickly. She knows exactly where her pee pee pads are and then also goes to the back door when we are downstairs. We can't believe how well she is settling in. She doesn’t chew on my furniture! She is so smart and sweet. Thank you again!Hope you had a fantastic Easter! We truly did.Wishing you the best!
Lauren
Hope these pics make it through. What a sweet girl she is. We're calling her Bailey. She did pretty well in the laundry room last night. I think she got us up about 4 times but usually settled back down fine. She's very clingy right now but I'm sure she will settle in and feel more confident soon. Our daughter is thrilled and a little scared of her which is funny for such a little dog. So far so good! :-)
Merry Christmas and thanks for raising such wonderful pups!
Hello DCDogfinders, I just wanted to give you an update on Bailey (Binkie) who we bought in October and now 4 months old. He is doing great. He is the smartest puppy in the world and can be a handful at times. But we love him dearly. He loves terrorizing my older female Yorkie who is 13 years old. A lot of times we have to tell him to cool it because even though she tries to tell him to knock it off he still goes back for more. My other older male plays with him but Bailey knows not to mess with him too much. It is funny to watch my little Yorkie family. Well have a Merry Christmas and we wanted to say thank you for giving us our baby.
The Fandinga Family
Winky is soooooo sweet. I had her groomed about a week ago because she got spayed on 1/27/09. She was out of it for about a day. My 5 year old absolutely adores her. He calls her Miss Winky or Little Mama! My husband call's her the one eyed wonder. She has her own basket of toys and multiple beds around the house. Chaz (my Shih Tzu) was afraid of her at first. Now he just deals with her. :-) I think she tires his 4 year old body out. She is allllll puppy! She's learning to walk on a leash and learning basic commands. She had no problem switching dog food. She eats Blue Buffalo puppy formula dry food mixed with the Blue can food. She is a fantastic eater. She eats the minute that the food hits the bowl. She loves riding in the car. Her most favorite thing to do is play in the snow.! I am so blessed that you chose me to be her new mom! Enjoy the pics!
Lia

DCDogFinders Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks for our puppy. I've attached two pix of Manny here at home. We're still working on that potty training thing and we're putting him into a training at PetSmart. Manny is getting lots of compliments and loving all the attention. I've told a couple of friends that are looking to get dogs about you guys so hopefully they'll be able to purchase from you as well. Manny has his first vet appt tomorrow so we need to turn in. Enjoy the pix and talk to you soon!

Just wanted to forward a couple of pictures of our little 'princess' (named Utah). We picked her up on the 13th of December and she has been a joy in our lives. She is catching on to the 'potty' training....outdoors pretty good......she sleeps all night without accidents. My husband who claims not to be a dog lover insisted she sleep with us after the first night of 'crying' in the kennel. She loves to go for walks, knows a few commands (want a treat?, bring the ball, etc.) Anyway, sharing these pictures.
Dee
We live nearby and strolled down to the White House to see the inauguration set up this weekend. He looks very presidential here, doesn't he? ;-)
Stephanie
Just wanted you to have an updated photo taken after Jazzy's first time at the groomer. She is so cute and weighs 8 pounds!!Peace be With You!
Miriam
Thank you so much for the helpful information about our new puppy! We love Teddy (formally Tucker) so much! He's been such an incredible dog and we've only had him for a day! Teddy has adjusted to all of my family, my mom, brother and dad fell in love with him the moment they saw him. He's had a few accidents here and there, but he's been using the puppy training pads so it is definitely manageable! He loves the play pen and whined a bit at night, so I slept in our living room next to him and he stopped immediately. He truly is a sensitive dog that is curious and sweet. We are so thankful you brought him into our lives because we know he's a true blessing. I attached a photo of him all curled up sleeping on the floor lol! He's so cute! We will keep you posted of any issues, but I don't foresee Teddy doing anything that could be bad! HahaThanks again!

Just wanted to reach out and give you and John an update of Angel. Angel (Maggie) has livened up and adjusted well in her new home. Chloe and Angel are the best of friends! We are having a problem with her straining to poop though. Gave her pumpkin and she threw it up, softened her food with water and that hasn't helped, will get her glands expressed on Friday and hoping that she just got backed up again ??. Please let me know if you come upon another rescue as we would love for Angel to have a fur-sibling to play with. I hope you and John are doing well and please keep in touch! Chloe still wants to come and 'work' with the puppies lol!!

First I would like to thank you cause he's the most friendliest puppy ever. We adopted Koda in May. He's our baby. He's a great travel companion, he loves going on car rides. He's extremely healthy, right now is teething and he's completely potty trained. =o) Also, for being a young puppy by last month he understood a few commands. He's exactly the best addition to our family. We don't like to be away from him. Its a wonderful feeling, getting home and having him greet you. We'll be back soon to give him a brother or sister to play with. Thanks, The Gomez Family First I would like to thank you cause he's the most friendliest puppy ever. We adopted Koda in May. Just wanted to send you a little note to let you know Luigi (formerly Tank) is adjusting quite well and is spoiled rotten. LOLWe absolutely love the new addition to our family. He has brought so much joy to us.Have a Merry Christmas!!

Attached is Casey our llasa chon puppy. We brought Casey home on October 6th. She is one loveable dog. She is so friendly, loves to give everyone licks! Not a mean bone in her body. We must admit for the first 4 months she was very active, could not "sit/lie" still. She is now 7 months old and we've seen a big change in her. She is very comfortable all over the house and fits wonderfully into our family. She's in her third week of dog training. She's very smart but the classes are just too exciting for her to concentrate. She obeys commands and loves to be with people. She loves her toys and wants to chew and play most of her waking hours. Overall we're very much in love w/Casey! Must admit though having a puppy does get tiring at times. Feel free to share any/all of our story and great pictures. She is precious.
Cheeka has definitely developed into her own, and she is mommy's baby to the fullest. She steals the hearts of all. From my family to yours, I can never say thank you enough for my new love! Best Regards,
Eboni and Cheeka
Dear Avery,
Hope all is well with you.
In September 2009, you helped us find our fur baby. He is an amazing cavachon originally named Oliver and born July 17, 2009. He is our Brinkley and a complete joy. You and I spoke on the phone a few times during our adoption process and you specifically recommended Oliver among his siblings. We are very grateful. He is doing so well. I attached photos.
Thank you so much.
Kelly O'Donnell
Loxley is precious! Potty training is going very well. (He enjoys the teething ring- a good alternative to his penchant for using fingers as toys. And the yarn might satisfy his fascination with shoestrings). It's his fourth day in our home and Richard, Loxley, and I are already so bonded and thoroughly enjoying our love fest ??????Again, thank you for bringing such a happy, healthy puppy into our lives!
Venona
I wanted to share how thrilled we are with DC Dogfinders (he even has some Cavachon friends here in Old Town!) and how grateful we are for your professionalism, friendliness and beautiful, healthy puppies. Should we ever want a brother or sister for Jingles, we know where to go! I am enclosing some photos of our fur baby for you! He is already 9 lbs! Every single person who meets him says Jingles is the cutest puppy they have ever seen. Ever!

Just letting you know that we have had a very good night. And Zoe is doing great eating and drinking lots of water. And going potty as if she has been here for a while. And sleeping a lot also. We love her so much already and feel like she has been with us a long time. Had a few potty spots but not bad. And she barked a few times at bed time and then she went to sleep. She was up and ready to go at 6 am. I think for her first night here she did great. She didn't keep me up I just couldn't sleep. It was like when I had my 2 kids, making sure she was all right all night long. Thank you so much for her, as she is now the love of our lives and we are so proud to have her. When I let her out of her pin she likes to sleep by our feet and have her head on them. I think she feels happy with us. She really likes to have her belly rubbed, she turns over and gives us those big eyes as to say rub me. And then goes to sleep.Sorry I could write a book about her already. Thanks again,
Jackie and Ray, Zoe's parents
We just wanted to let you know that Coco Bear is doing wonderful. We just love her to pieces! She has brought so much joy to our lives, we can't imagine life without her now. Here's a few photos of her.

Thank you for blessing us with the two most perfect puppies in the world. When I first tried to reserve Bentley (Malti-Poo) he was already reserved however I prayed everyday that I somehow would be blessed with him. Well, DC Dog Finders must have received my blessings because you called me and informed me that Bentley became available. We received Bentley and a beautiful (Yorki-Poo) who we named Pepsi (was Lucy). Pepsi is so loveable and active, and Bentley is so loveable and watches over her. They have captured our hearts and we have enjoyed every minute of them being a part of our family. Thank you so much for allowing Bentley and Pepsi to be a joy in our lives and apart of our family.

Dear DCDogFinders family, I wanted to take a minute to salute you and your family. I watched the Oprah show last Friday and was saddened by the conditions that I witnessed. I am an attorney in Alexandria, VA and my family purchased a puppy from you almost 1 year ago. Dalton is his name. He is a true family member. Well adjusted, healthy, happy and down right the cutest guy that ever lived! I just wanted to say "GOOD JOB" you invited me and my kids to your home, spent an hour or two helping us, we played with both puppies and parents, walked into a beautiful home, visited in a great puppy room and was provided more info that when I bought my home or when I brought my four children home from the hospital. In a world where every one wants to assume the WORST both myself and my family including Dalton, salute you and give you a BIG THUMBS UP for being the BEST BREEDER in the WORLD! www.DCDOGFINDERS.com ROCKS!
Tim Miller (Katlin, Kori, Alexis , Amanda, Cheryl and Dalton)
We just wanted to thank you for giving us the best gift of our lives. We got Maya (ShihChon) 2 years ago and she has become a big part of our family. We don't know what we would do without her. She is kind affectionate and gets along well with other animals. She loves to play and go for walks. We hope to one day get her a companion and when we do we will come straight to DCDOGFINDERS. Thank You,
Gladys, Edgar, Lury & John
Hello again DCDogFinders, Thank you again so much for our little z-na, here are some pictures!

Hi Avery, I don’t know if you remember me or not but we adopted Sophie (Taffy/SHICHON) and Dexter (Cavachon) in 2010. Well they will both be 2 years old in July/August and I wanted to give you an update on them. They have grown and learned so much since blessing our lives. They have made trips to Ohio and Missouri to visit family member’s. They love taking Mommy for a walk and riding in our convertible. They are happy, healthy and very much loved and we can’t thank you enough for bringing them into our lives.
Thanks again,
Bob, Julie, Sophie and Dexter
Here are the pictures you requested. Lucy is doing just fine. She is adjusting well to being with her new owner as well as her extended family including my sister, her two children and my parents. She devoured her canned food like a champ and has been very playful, even running around outside the yard with my sister's Westie. She went potty outside and have had no accidents so far. She is a wonderful dog and I am excited to have her in our lives.Thank you very much for taking such great care of her!
Jung
Just wanted you to know that Chloe & Cooper are adjusting well to their new home. We are so thrilled to have them. The kids keep telling me they are the best dogs in the world! Cooper is a wild thing and Chloe is joining in on the mischief now. They love to cuddle with each other, I'm so glad we got them both together.Thank you for bringing these precious pups into our family! I will keep you posted on how they are doing.Take care,
Jennifer
Hi DCDogFinders!Just wanted to update you with Teddy's pics because they are just too precious not to share! He is doing so well :) thanks!
Lauren k.
I can't believe how time flies! I'm sure you remember Mimi - she is turning 2 years old on Valentine's Day! I have been meaning to reach out for a while with pictures. She has such a funny personality, and is very happy and friendly - her whole body wags whenever she meets someone new. Bella Mimi has been such a great companion, and also a great guard dog! I hope you and your family are doing well. Blessings!
Micah
I’ve been meaning to send you an update, but things have been busy (as I'm sure you can imagine). Cody made a very smooth transition and is doing well. He has been eating like a champ and goes potty every time we take him out. He is still working on not going in the house, but hopefully he will master that soon! Josie (our doodle) and Cody love to play and they have been getting along great. Evelyn and Massey are still in disbelief and love having Cody as part of our family. I'll send you more pictures soon! Thanks again!
Carrie & Josh
Daisy and Drake LaBatt celebrated their first birthdays today. Actually one was yesterday and Daisy's is tomorrow but we had a canine birthday cake for them tonight! After we brought the puppies home we realized that Drake's birthday was the same day as our older Bichon Dutchess. She got to celebrate as well. They are incredible puppies and have blessed our home. We can't imagine life without them. They have the best personalities and are spoiled rotten. We love having them as part of our family. Thanks again for letting us adopt them.
Tracey, Tom, Briana, and Rachel
I just wanted to update you on Finley... I don't have Facebook, so I have to email:)He has been a dream puppy, such a love bug, but playful as well. He's very social, loves people and playing with all dogs- big & small! He definitely looks more Shih Tzu than a mix, such a handsome boy! He does do the "Bichon wave", especially when he wants a belly rub, which is SO cute!!Thanks so much for our awesome puppy!!
Sherry Siegel
Hope all is well with you.
Have a great Xmas!
Patti :)
Sending you a quick note to let you know Mia slept the whole way home with lifting her head up from time to time with Emily sitting next to her letting her know everything was okay. Thank you for allowing us to adopt this beautiful little puppy. She is still Mia, but Mimi and Minnie have come out a few times so we shall see.
All the best,
Lynn
Cooper says Hello! He used his wee wee pads for the first time today, loves the vitamins right from the tube and gets his belly rubbed to encourage him to eat. Oh and gets tons of hugs and kisses. Thank you so much.
Cindy

We are all smitten.I hope you & John are well, if you are ever in the Alexandria area we would welcome your visit anytime.Kind Regards,

Elizabeth,
Merry Christmas! Just wanted to say thank you so much for our little pup. The kids were totally surprised and thrilled this morning and are in love! They decided to name him Sammy and Happy will be his middle name :)
We can't wait to spend the next 20 years loving and spoiling him!
Thanks for making our dreams come true!
Love,
Laurie
Just wanted to let you know that Bella is doing, we think, exceptionally well. We did not get much sleep last night, she REALLY hates her crate! But we excepted that, so no big deal. But, she is already doing better with her house training. It's so funny how her pooing and peeing outside makes us so happy and proud. She has really livened up today, running, jumping, playing with her toys. We not only already love her but are in love with her. I don't think I can express our gratitude for her. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have attached a photo my son took tonight. I will keep you posted on her and our progress.
Take care. The Blackburn Family
I saw that you posted our picture on the website. I just thought I would send you a picture where the pups don't look so tired. Thanks again!
Tony
Wanted to let you know how we are doing with our precious Daisy May (Coco). She is wonderful and we love her to pieces. She was a bit difficult to potty train but we have that down well now. She will potty on command if needed. She is very smart and picks up on new commands and tricks very quickly. That also includes any spoiling. She loves to float in our pool on a raft, the will go for a quick swim before she gets out. She will jump on a chair for us to pick her up if we don’t take her in when we go. It’s an above ground pool. She is loved at the nursing home, which has made it difficult to train her not to get excited when she sees new people. But she is great at giving kisses and laying on the sofa (oops) to be petted. Our grand boys love her and she loves them. One, the 2-year-old, loves giving her “snacks”. So last evening she was hand fed all her dinner. She only eats her Royal Canin and few other treats. I was giving her a popular soft treat from PetSmart and she was itching and when I stopped them she quit itching after a week.Thank you so much for entrusting her to our family.
Leisa and Chuck George
Wanted to send a few pics to you of (CODY) who we now call ROCKET.Jared named him, well he had his name picked out long before he even knew he was getting a puppy, but he kept it and Rocket runs about that fast, so it fits!We are having such fun with him. Training is going okay - we aren't there yet and any helpful hints on how to help him stop biting everything in site would be awesome. It snowed here Tuesday, and we took some pictures of his first snowfall. They are attached. I have more from Christmas, but I haven't downloaded them yet. As I am sitting here now, he is aggressively tearing up my Brookstone Catalog....lol Our entire family loves the little guy. He fits right in, and oh! He recently met the Guinea Pig, Snickers. That was hilarious. Now he knows there is a cage up there and comes in and will give her a bark or two. I have a pic of that too that I will have to send.He doesn't bark very often, and absolutely loves running as fast as he can go outside. I have thought often to send you a note, and just never get to it, but rest assured.... Santa did good!!! Thanks for making it happen!

Dear DCDogFinders Family, It's been three months since Tigger (formerly Dillon) has come to live with us. We are absolutely in love. He is the sweetest, cutest, cuddliest, happiest, friendliest little puppy and we couldn't be happier. He's already housebroken - it was much easier than we'd anticipated. He was trained long before he could even come down the stairs. He walks on the leash and has everyone in our development wrapped around his paw. People stop us on the street to look at Tigger. He's growing and developing nicely. He handles the groomer and veterinarian very well. He goes out every morning with my daughter and her personal trainer. When he comes in, it's straight to my bedroom where he waits patiently for me to look over the side of the bed to say good morning. He is a wonderful addition to our family and we love, love, love him. Thank you so much.
